I believe Japan remade itself because it focused on technology, economy, and relationship with other nations. According to Man, Japan’s later structural model Koizumi Doctrine allowed Japan to develop sincere and open partnerships with other nations and emphasized the importance for Japan to develop a positive relationship with the ASEAN region (126). This allowed Japan to take on as a global nation not just focusing local level and continue to expand itself as a trade nation. As a trade nation, Japan is able to focus on its imports and exports in technology, automobiles as this can strengthen the economy. Man also emphasizes that Japan was a nation that focused more on a cooperative approach in terms of acting together, focusing on partnerships, and forming unity among its regional members in order to provide cooperation toward country’s leadership (126). A strong and unified government can lead to a country remaking itself in investing the time in order for the country to develop economic stability. Furthermore, Fernandez discusses that the style of Ivy model introduced to more Japanese men and remained as aesthetics incorporating American style (1). This maximized Japan into a more culturally competent nation appreciating different models and styles as this can allow a country to industrialize itself into a developed nation and exchange ideas across nations. I believe in order for Japan to further maximize its aesthetics as it still needs to expand its working population and continue to work together to expand technology. Japan will need to focus on its labor productivity in order for people to work together in order to create better technology and growth. Social entrepreneurship can assist a country’s development as it provides solutions to marginalized and poor. Katzenstein emphasizes social entrepreneurship assisted Cameroon through its child health problem through creating resources in order to help alleviate hazards and identify healthcare problems through both a local and national perspective (5). The social entrepreneurship created products relating to technology in order to help understand health problems in Cameroon. With this, social entrepreneurship continues to resolve issues and refine societal problems which can improve the country’s growth.
Question: What can the government or society do to encourage social entrepreneurship in underdeveloped countries that lack resources?
