The first country that comes to mind when I think of a branded country is tourist
countries such as the bahamas.
They remade themselves to capitalize on their country's natural beauty. This type of rebranding can be emphasized even more by having the Bahamas brand more unique foods and recreational activities. This will help them attain maximum national aesthetics. And if countries can remake themselves, then people can help enact this change. This is why I believe a startup is a culmination dedicated group of individuals united underneath a common idea. With this idea they can change the world, as Professor Valverde says. However, a startup is not only just an idea with people behind it, it is also a chance to give the general populace something they need. This is because startups usually focus on creating a new product that the world has never seen before. So people may not even know they wanted the product until it came out, i.e. the way we are now dependent on the internet but in the past we would have never thought of a magical way to answer our questions or communicate. One question I would have is can a startup be so universally uniting, that it doesn't need funding and the sheer will of the people will allow the startup to thrive.
