There were many ways in which Japan was able to rebuild its country after the effects of World War II. One of them being how they were able to socially build themselves through the use of menswear. By producing a line of clothes for men and taking influences from different places, they were able to shape a new generation of clothes for men. The fashion statement created for men in Japan was so big and significant that it is still prevalent today influencing not only Japanese culture and lifestyle but American lives too. Another factor that seemed to help rebuild Japan was its economic reconstruction through the Yoshida Doctrine. The Yoshida Doctrine was supposed to provide recovery and growth while keeping Japan lightly armed. This doctrine helped transform Japan into an economic powerhouse in which it was an optimal strategy for helping shape a weak and vulnerable nation that was trying to survive. Lastly, another thing that the Yoshida Doctrine brought was a national tranquility. In order to do this, Japan had to undergo a lot of changes to its society. At the time, it was conflicted between declining standard living and opening more opportunities for migrant workers. This reformed the nation in which the people had to change with the country as well. However, it was all in good cause because it led to more peace within and outside of Japanese borders. These changes helped lead Japan towards a better direction in terms of stability because from there, it was able to give itself a mark on the map in the sense that it created its own nation brand.
Question: If other countries adopted the ideas of the Yoshida Doctrine, how would it affect their livelihood?
