Week 5 - Junying Ye
After I read the articles, I think the most of countries are trying to do the same thing nowadays. For those countries which have their own nation brands already, they keep on elevating theirs aesthetics in order to remain their nation brands, just like Denmark. Danish designers are always trying to transcend, to explore new fields, and then cross experimental creation. Always looking for a different from the existing ideas, more modern, more avant-garde, and more aesthetic value of the expression. They used the unique expression technique, advocated the humanist design idea. In order to achieve the perfect combination of rationalization and humanization, unity of functionality and practicability, the humanized and traditional culture should be integrated into the design, thus creating an eternal model of design aesthetics. It can be said that the essence of design is based on tradition and beyond tradition. Danish designers' pioneering spirit and innovative ideas have laid the undisputed position of Danish designers in the field of design. This allows us to rethink the vitality of design and expression, innovation and traditional spirit, the integration of foreign ideas and local culture. Denmark's classic furniture works reflect the national and global understanding. Not only rely on the excavation and absorption of the national culture, but also rely on the essence of foreign national culture for reference.
